Needs and Wants Needs and wants based on human instincts in determining the type of something that they want to choose. The bad or good decisions taken are influenced by several factors, one of which is our understanding of the needs and wants. Definition of Needs The need for everything that humans need for survival, and adequate comfort. Types of Needs Human needs vary greatly. These needs can be classified, as follows: Needs according to intensity  1) Primary Needs Primary needs are the main needs or basic needs that must first be fulfilled to maintain life.
